Road trip to Chico

Nothing like a little road trip with 3 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby right? How hard can it be? Mom, Dad and I found out. It took us 14 1/2 hrs to get from Silverdale to Chico, but we made it safe. Truth be told, it wasn't that bad. I think Sami finally broke down around the 14 hr mark.... but we were all about done at that point! Here is Sami all packed in and ready to go (notice she is all smiles!)

 

Natalie was just as happy to get on the road!

 

 

Our morning was fairly uneventful. Sang some songs, played some games, ate some snacks. After a little lunch break, it didn't take long before both girls were passed out!

 

 

Our last rest stop before dinner was a great RV park in Oregon. Since it was Natalie's first time in Oregon, we made sure to take a picture! Sami wanted to get in on the fun too.

 

 

This particular rest stop was wonderful because it had a huge grassy area. Perfect for running around and getting some energy out. Nana enjoyed all the snuggle time. Natalie was just happy to get to move around.

 

 

 Even though both girls fell asleep before we got to Chico, it was worth every minute of the drive when we got to Momo's house. It was the first time she had met Natalie...

 

I hope one day Natalie realizes how lucky she is.

She has THE BEST Great- Grandma in the WORLD!!!
