February Cuteness

This is the monthly post of pictures that don't really fit in anywhere else :)  Enjoy

She is FINALLY big enough to wear the very first outfit ever bought for her.
It says "Duck, Duck, Moose" and is from Seattle

She started climbing on everything this month... into the book box

On the "Big Girl" car seat (look how proud she is)

We tried new foods too... she loves hummus!

Rodeo 2011

Spring time in Texas means going to Rodeo. We didn't get to go last year since Sami came 2 weeks earlier than anticipated. This year, we decided to take her with us to cook-off. She had a blast!
All ready to go- boots included!

Sami even had fun on the shuttle to the cook-off
The Bar-B-Que was great, and everyone thought Sami was adorable! (Of course)

It amazes me everyday how much Sami and Mark look alike...
Our favorite part of the night was the Ferris Wheel

One funnel cake later, the night was over. It was a fun family night!

Boyfriend Birthdays Part 2

Part 2? What? There's more? Well, Sami does like the cute boys. After Blake's birthday we went to visit Marks' friend Lee. His son, Luke, was also having his first birthday.

The cool birthday dude

Sami had lots of fun at the party, there was so much to do!

Mark liked the cupcakes just as much as Luke's brother, William

Sami wanted some too!

We also captured the moment that Sami and Luke fell in love!

Aren't they cute together?

Sami's Little Boyfriend

Sami has become good friends with one of the little boys in our Mommies group. His name is Blake. Blake turned 1 a few weeks before Sami and we were able to help him celebrate both at the Children's Museum AND at his house!

The happy Birthday Boy!

Sami liked playing house at the museum

They are very cute together.... Sami is already chasing boys!

As usual, when it came time to open presents, Sami had other ideas. Tissue paper was WAY more fun!

As with any 1st birthday, the cake is the best part. Blake didn't know what to do with his cake. He didn't even get that messy!

The cake says it all:

Happy Valentines' Day 2011

Grandma Richter made such a cute Valentine Dress, we just had to use it for Valentine pictures! Some we had taken, some we took our self. All are adorable (of course)

It was our first Valentines' Day as a family, and Sami and I were glad to be back from Washington to celebrate with Mark!

Did I mention that she also started taking steps? Okay, so we don't have a picture of the steps, but look how cute these Valentine PJ's are!

Happy Valentines' Day!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Williams

We took a trip up to Washington to visit Grandma and Grandpa Williams. It was a much more relaxing trip than the one in December- with A LOT less driving!
Fred thought he could go to

Sami spent lots of time at Grandma's preschool. The kids LOVED having her there.
It was like she was just one of the students!

We took a ferry (surprise, surprise!) Sami liked "driving" the car while we were crossing the water.
She posed with Uncle Brian and with Mommy

We played and played with all the toys, and since Sami got 2 new upper teeth while we were there,
she also drooled all over everything!

Teething is hard work, so Sami spent her 11 month birthday a little cranky and VERY cuddly.
Grandma didn't mind....

Our first Spaghetti Night! Sure was tasty!

We got to visit with Cortney

The weather was beautiful, but a little chilly. Who knew bundling up could be so cute?

Before we left, we did a little Pre-Birthday shopping. Here is a sneak peak of a few birthday items:
Uncle Brian got a birthday crown, I don't know how Sami feels about that!

SHHHHHH..... sneak peeks of Samis' Birthday outfits!

We left for home on Valentines day so we dressed up in hearts. It was easy to see who Grandpa's favorite Valentine is

(Check out Sami in her Big Girl Seat!)

We had a great visit and it was sad to leave, but we were anxious to get home to see Mark!
