May Cuteness

Both Mark AND Sami were sick on and off for the better part of May. Not fun in our house-but it made for a super cute picture of them cuddling on the couch
(even if they are both faking being asleep)

We are enjoying our new camera, Sami is loving hamming it up for Mommy and Daddy. Here are her 2 favorite expressions- 1) Aren't I cute? and 2) The "Stinkeye"!

Then there is just plain cute!

With a sick house, Mother's day was spent at home relaxing. I loved getting some snuggle time in!

Just a few pictures of "Beach Week" at Gymnastics. The girls were so cute in their bathing suits!

I love all the games they played. Sami enjoyed picking up the fish and putting them in the basket.

Sami and Scout waiting their turn and Sami swinging on Mickey's Ears

For those keeping track, Flipper is getting bigger and bigger- which means I am getting bigger and bigger. Check out the belly at 30 1/2 weeks!

It's been a great month!

Memorial Day Barbeque

We didn't take many pictures in May- until we got our new camera!!! That's right folks- we upgraded to an SLR. Now, neither of us has had the time to really learn how to use the new camera, but we were pretty proud of how well these pictures turned out when we had people over! It was great to spend time with Jason and Jessica, Erin, Chris and Elyse- but of course we only got pictures of the girls. They are just so cute!

and of course.... my 2 favorites once again!

April Cuteness

I love the monthly wrap ups! It's amazing what a personality Sami has shown us lately. I love to watch her play and figure things out, but especially how she interacts with us and those around us.
We went to a birthday party and got to visit with Elmo. I was proud of her- she just walked right up to him and gave him a hug. Even loved sitting on his lap!

She even started showing an interest in playing dress up- wearing helmets at the store, showing off her bunny glasses or new rain boots, and playing with some of the costumes I got her after Halloween (she wanted to be a Butterfly Dinosaur- go figure!)

Of course, it wouldn't be springtime without a Dynamo shirt for the new season!
 Daddy was so proud!

It was also fun to see her really start to mimic those around her. She likes to vacuum....

take money out of Daddy's wallet, and "cook" with her beans

It's such a fun age. We have been able to really do some fun things as a family. April was the perfect time for our first s'mores in the backyard. Aren't they cute together?

I love those 2!!!!!!

Austin- Dylan's 3rd Birthday and Baby Shower

With my 3rd trimester in full swing, we snuck in one last visit to Austin before it was too late for me to travel at all. We all looked forward to seeing everyone up there- especially Sami. She packed her backpack and was ready to go!

We enjoyed Dylan's 3rd Birthday. Sami was our little fishy and swam for over 3 hours. She only stopped for cake and pizza!

I miss living next to Monica and the kids... I can't believe that Dylan is 3 already!!!

And my beautiful Squishy (although she doesn't like to be called that anymore!)

That evening, the girls got together for some "Girl Time" and a little shower for Flipper. It was so good to see everyone- not to mention talk to adults!!!!

Tracey, Monica, Becky, Maria, Sarah and I!  Thanks ladies for all the great gifts.

On the way back to get Mark and Sami for the ride home, we made a pit stop at Maria's house and I got to see my boys- man I miss them. Look how big they are!

Until next time Austin- we miss you!

Easter 2012

This Easter, Mark was so sick (he caught an illness fighting of 7 wild wolves attacking Sami and myself!  He saved our lives.  A real life super hero!!!) - Thanks Mark.... note to self, never leave computer open when Mark is around!!!
Anyway, Mark was so sick on Easter that he was barely able to see Sami hunt for eggs. What a cute little bunny she made!

Look what she found at the breakfast table!

I was glad he could get through it though, she was hilarious! Let's just say that she gets her hunting skills (or lack of them) from her Momma! She could be standing on top of an egg and still not see it.
Then, after every egg found, she had to sit and check out what was in the egg. Finding 12 eggs took almost an hour!!!!!

Checking out her loot

Sami especially loved her necklaces from Nana and Papi! She loved them so much that she wanted to share them with Fred,

Fred was not impressed!

Since Mark was sick, Sami and I went to Easter dinner at the Richters' by ourselves. It was too bad Mark couldn't come, the food was great and Sami had a great time on her second Easter egg hunt of the day!

For a 2 year old, it's hard to tell what is more fun- hunting Easter eggs or feeding the fish with Grandpa...

Before we left, we were able to get some Family Pictures. What a beautiful day!
