Sami started Swim lessons in January and I am amazed at how quickly she is catching on. She blew through the "Starfish" classes and, at the beginning of April, moved into the "Tadpole" class. This means that she gets to go to class by herself, Mommy doesn't have to go in anymore. It's not easy getting pictures through the glass during class, but here are a few of her Big Girl class.
Waiting her turn with new friend Jeremiah
The swim club uses these swim sticks to help the kids be more independent in the pool and to learn basic kicking skills. Sami loves roaming around the pool on her own!
I am such a proud Mommy that Sami can float almost all the way across the pool all by herself. Notice that her teacher is watching, but not close? (Sami is the little blurb in the water!)
Looking forward to watching my little fishy turn into an even better swimmer!
