A little Houston Rodeo

Our yearly tradition. A trip to the Houston Livestock and Rodeo. Since everyone was in town, we made sure they came too. It can be very overwhelming the first time you go. Luckily, we have figured out some systems and short cuts that make things a little easier. With the girls, it's mostly about them since none of us really ride roller coasters. We started off visiting the animals and letting Sami ride some of the rides. She is pretty proud of herself since she can ride them alone now. Nat got some cuddle time with Nana.

Both girls loved the Carousel

Then we played some games

Our favorite ride was the HUGE Ferris wheel. It was Natalie's first ride on one. Sami loves them, Nat thought it was pretty cool. I thought they were adorable together.

The color is not good in this picture, but it's the only one I could get of both of them in their cute cowgirl shirts.

After dinner (yummy festival food). we made our way to the rodeo and concert itself. The midway was a little too loud for Nat. Good thing she liked her earphones.

Both Natalie and Sami loved watching the rodeo events and seeing Jason Aldean.

It was all a little much for Nat. She passed out half way through the concert.

A few wonderful funnel cakes later, we headed home. Another successful trip tot he Rodeo!
