An Early Birthday Present for Sami

With Sami's 2nd birthday coming up, we were looking for some sort of playscape for our backyard. Our goal was to have it up before the party for the kids to play on. Grandma and Grandpa tot eh rescue! They ordered a HUGE playscape that fills half our yard. It was awesome to see the progression of the construction.

       This is the backyard "BEFORE"

Sami enjoyed sitting on all the big boxes when they were delivered and put in our garage.

We (and by "we" I mean Mark and his Dad) had to lay out all the pieces and prep the area before real construction could begin....

Then the real work began, Sami helped keep track of all the steps:

It took a little longer than expected, but by the middle of the second day- we had a complete Playscape! It fit perfectly and Sami loves it!

****Since I am late on updating this blog, I can tell you that it rained during Sami's birthday party so no one got to play on it, but we enjoy it as a family every day!***
