Natalie even got her first lesson riding a bike!
All About Sami
This girl really has a budding personality. She may have been late to talk, but she is making up for it now! I love having conversations an hearing her stories- she has a VERY vivid imagination. She is beginning to enjoy fine motor activities like making cereal necklaces, and using Natalie's old clothes to dress her babies.
She thought it was very special to be able to play with the nativity scene before it got packed up. She was able to tell me the story of Jesus that she learned at school. My little fashionista is also all about dressing herself and finding accessories to go with her outfits. Way too cool for Mommy to take pictures!
I am amazed at how independent Sami is. She likes to help around the house (when it suits her, of course!), and is able to get the clothes out of the washer and put them in the dryer all by herself, put her own clothes away, and even shower nearly by herself. Here she is "washing" the clothes that came in Natalie's washing machine toy. This is now her job after every play date!
Not to Forget Natalie
Natalie is also growing like crazy. She is getting better at sitting by herself, and I love playing dress up with her :) It's one of the best things about being the mommy of girls!
I like the next 2 pictures. On the left is the closest I will ever get to having a boy. On the right, Sami was very excited that Natalie matched pink baby!!!
We tried out the door jumper this month. She liked being able to bounce away!
**Funny story- we borrowed the story "Cowlick" from the library. It's a cute story about how cows sneak into little kids rooms at night and lick their heads- that is why they wake up with crazy hair. Now, Natalie wakes up with some crazy hair every morning (see pictures below). Sami is now sure that the cow from her alarm clock goes into Natalie's room every night and licks her head. She thinks it's the funniest thing!**
Did I mention that she is rolling everywhere now? In both of these pictures, she started on the blanket in the middle of the room. She thinks it's the best thing!
