3 generations of lovely ladies! (Don't miss Natalie laying on the pillow!)

 

Lovin my girls

 

I love that the evenings in August start to cool off enough to play outside. Sami is learning how to bait her hook on her fishing pole. Natalie enjoyed her first time to "play" outside.

 

 

My favorite little Sami-Burrito!

 

It was cool to celebrate my birthday with my family of 4- and Fred :)

 

 

Sami continues to be a wonderful big sister and a lively little girl. She loves to help around the house (when it's convenient for her!), and is ALWAYS busy. While helping bake blueberry cake, she helped me zest a lemon- what a face!

 

 

 

She likes to try to vacuum (child labor laws don't exist if they like it, right?)

 

 

 

and at the end of a long day, she likes to swing with her baby.

 

Natalie, on the other hand,  had many "firsts" this month:

The first time trying out the high chair and the first time wearing 0-3 month pj's (sadly, her newborn ones got too short!)

 

 

First time sleeping in her crib (look at that smirk!) and first time wearing sunglasses :)

 

 

 

And some moments, while not "firsts", were just too sweet not to include:

Sami wanting to make sure that Natalie wasn't lonely in the swing, and napping with Daddy

 

 

August went by in a blur, but I always try to stop and enjoy the precious moments like this-

 they make my heart melt
