Solid food, here we are!

It seems like every day there is a new "first" in our house. This past week has been packed full! We took Sami in for her 4 month check up to find that she is now over 15 lbs and 24 inches long! More important, we got the green light to start on solids.

We were so excited! This seemed like a great idea! Until we tried it......

All in all she did pretty well for the first time. I think more got ON her than actually IN her, but it was an experience! Mark thought the spoon was a little too slow...


He tried the "Drink it down" method, It worked on those last few drops!

It was messy, but she did great! We figured out that is was time to break out the high chair though...

This worked MUCH better the next time! Our baby girl is growing up!

    Man, my little guy has a lot of catching up to do!!! He was 13.5 at his 4 month. But, I think that he has had a growth spurt in the the last month. We will see I guess.

    But Haylee, he is CRAWLING! That's crazy! Sami is over 16 lbs now. My little chunky monkey!
